The combination of chocolate and biscuit is one of the major trends in the confectionery sector. One of our customers, a leading international food corporation, had the desire of a product innovation: chocolate bars with biscuit - sweet or salty.

For the launch not only a flexible and reliable production machine, but also expertise in product development was necessary. In close collaboration with the customer two new developments have been positioned in the market: the 100g chocolate bars with attached mini-salt biscuits and mini-butter biscuits and the corresponding production machine - the emkon. BISCUIT DEPOSITOR

Speed, reliability and precision on highest level - 3600 times per minute - that's the emkon. BISCUIT DEPOSITOR.

The emkon. BISCUIT DEPOSITOR combines the latest robotic with cameras and linear transfer technology and sets standards in the fast and reliable product handling. 18 times per minute the pick & place unit of the emkon. BISCUIT DEPOSITOR, with its 200 vacuum suction heads, precisely and reliably converts the mini biscuits onto the still liquid chocolate. If in the transport form a biscuit would be missing, this is detected by a camera system. A following flex picker unit fills these voids and makes sure that the moulds verify 100 % completeness of all chocolate bars.
